Stephen Claridge started Vancouver Pay Per Click in 2009 to help bring internet marketing to small- and medium-sized businesses in the Vancouver area. Stephen began his career in internet marketing working at ClubZone.com, a major entertainment and nightlife guide, where he managed the company’s search engine marketing and web analytics. In this position, Stephen managed large advertising spends and was able to learn a tremendous amount about the world of PPC marketing. He quickly developed an intense passion for internet marketing.
During his four years of experience in internet marketing, Stephen has managed campaigns with budgets from $30 to $30,000 dollars per day in advertising spend. This experience makes him uniquely qualified to deliver successful campaigns for any business, regardless of budget.
Stephen is a Google Certified Individual. He received this designation by demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of Google Adwords, as well as specialized knowledge in advanced Adwords categories. In addition to his Adwords certification, Stephen is a designated Google Analytics Qualified Individual .
Stephen’s formal education in internet marketing includes Google Adwords Advanced Training and a Web Analytics course created by Analytics expert and thought leader Avinash Kaushik for the University of California. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing major) as well as a Graphic Design certificate from Concordia University in Montreal.
