Website Optimization

Website optimization is the practice of improving the structure, layout and content of a website, or web page, in order to improve the visitor’s experience on the site. By creating a website that has relevant content, logical navigation and is user-friendly, you will increase the likelihood that the visitor will become a customer.

A site’s conversion rate is obtained by dividing the number of site visits by the number of goals achieved. The goal is the desired action; this could be newsletter sign-ups, free consultations booked or products purchased.

Website optimization aims to increase the site’s usability while reducing the bounce rate (the number of visitors who exit the site without leaving the landing page). Although website optimization does not increase traffic to your site, it will increase your conversion rate and improve the efficiency of your web site as a sales tool.

We conduct in-depth research and testing in order to create the best configuration for your website. We use AIDA (attention, interest, desire, action) to move the user through the stages of interaction: visiting the site, navigating the site and making a commitment to purchase.

Vancouver PPC has proven experience in optimizing sites for increased conversion. Our expertise in the areas of web analytics and SEO allow us to provide even better website optimization. We will work with you to ensure that your website is optimized to take advantage of every opportunity.

Web Optimization Services Include:

  • Complete site analysis and review
  • Analysis of site layout and structure
  • A/B Testing
  • Site redesign and optimization
  • Optimization of pages and conversion paths
  • Increase conversion rates
  • Removal of restrictions in conversion paths
  • Update to a more efficient content management system (eg, WordPress installation)

Note: In order to optimize conversion paths on your website, we require that you have Web Analytics installed with conversion tracking in place. We can set up Google Analytics properly, with goal tracking (aka conversion tracking), if you don’t have it installed. However, we cannot commence with optimizing conversion paths until we have collected enough conversion data to assume a baseline. This will take approximately 4 to 8 weeks.
